Circular X PhD Ankita Das will be defending her PhD thesis titled "Advancing circular business models: Anticipating rebound effects and fostering regeneration" at a public defense at the Maastricht University Aula on 17th December 2024 at 16:00.
Ankita's research focused on investigating the true environmental impact reduction potential of circular business models. She investigated how companies currently measure environmental impact of new business model innovations in practice, how rebound effects affect environmental impact reduction potential of these new circular business models, and how businesses can move towards more radical regenerative, nature-positive business models. In doing so she aimed to advance the understanding of how circular business models can be improved, and how experimentation towards better business models can be fostered.
