Professors Tomohiko Sakao (Linköping University), Nabil Nasr (Rochester Institute of Technology), Yasushi Umeda (University of Tokyo) and Nancy Bocken of Circular X met in Paris on 21 October to discuss their forthcoming CIRP keynote paper on implementing the circular economy in business.
The CIRP keynote paper in progress aims to give an international perspective on implementing circular economy activities in manufacturing for environmental sustainability. The role and mission of CIRP is to promote - in the field of production engineering - research and development among its members from academia and industry, to contribute to environmentally sustainable global prosperity and well-being of society.
