We are pleased to announce that Benjamin Combes is staying with the Circular X team at the Maastricht Sustainability Institute for a one-month research visit. Benjamin is currently enrolled as a PhD Candidate at Mines Paris and Paris Dauphine University. His work intersects closely with the team’s research on sufficiency and new business models. His recent work seeks to explore the roots of sufficiency and its current manifestations at the organisational level. It posits sufficiency as both an individual and a collective emancipatory process from consumerism and extractivism. Benjamin will be presenting his work on the genealogy of sufficiency and its degrees of integration in exemplary companies at MSI’s next Triple S seminar. You can find out more about his work here.
