PhD researcher Laura Niessen attended the European Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production (ERSCP) 2021 Conference in Graz, Austria.
Circular X PhD Laura Niessen joined the ERSCP conference in Graz, Austria, on 8th to 10th September 2021. The ERSCP conference brings together researchers and practitioners in the fields of sustainable consumption and production, resilience, urban development, future energy systems and much more.
The Circular X team was furthermore virtually represented by Myrthe Velter, collaborating researcher from Maastricht Sustainability Institute, who introduced her boundary tool for multi-stakeholder business model innovation which was recently published here.
This year, the three-day ERSCP conference with a diverse set of speakers and presentations was preceded by a full-day PhD workshop, including a session on how to write and publish high impact papers by Don Huising, the founder and former editor of the Journal of Cleaner Production.
Around 200 attendees were delighted to meet in-person in Graz and another 100 joined online. The next ERSCP is due to take place in 2023 at Wageningen University, the Netherlands.
