Circular X PhD researcher Deanna Han published her first article on how companies experiment with circular service business models in new geographical contexts.
In recent years, companies have been experimenting with new circular service business models (CSBMs) in different countries. However, little is known about the external factors that influence the launch of these CSBMs, and what strategies companies have used to anticipate them.
Deanna Han, Jan Konietzko, Marc Dijk & Nancy Bocken attempt to answer these questions in their recently published article in the Journal of Sustainable Production and Consumption. Based on interviews with eight internationally operating companies, they found seven external factors and six adaptation strategies.
