The Regenerative Business Case Database showcases real case examples of regenerative strategies being implemented we aim to inspire experimentation towards more forward-thinking business models that aim to do 'more good' rather than just 'less harm'
How can companies move towards doing more good rather than just less harm, and achieve net positive impact? What regenerative business strategies exist in practice now?
We found and reviewed 84 regenerative business cases from 15 sectors to create a first-of-a-kind Regenerative Business Case Database. We conducted in-depth case analyses on the core characteristics such as size of these regenerative organisations, the sectors they operate in, their collaborative networks, how they create and capture value, their ownership structures, and the types of regeneration strategies they employ. We hope this database can act as a source for inspiration for business leaders as they experiment towards more forward-thinking business models that foster ecosystem resilience.

Circular X researcher Ankita Das developed this database and corresponding regenerative business strategy typology as part of her PhD project. The database will continue growing, so if you know of a company that you think should be added or notice any discrepancies, feel free to reach out to a.das@maastrichtuniversity.nl.
